About Sandustry Database

This is a player-run reference database, not an official publication. It started as a personal collection of measured material settling orders and grew into the community encyclopedia you see today.

Everything on the site is written and verified by players who actually play the game: no review scores, no editorial opinion pieces, no sponsored rankings. Just mechanics, numbers, and setups.

Sandustry Database is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Lantto Games, Hooded Horse, or any other party involved in publishing Sandustry. The game and all in-game content belong to their respective creators.

We do not run affiliate links, sponsored content, or paid placements. All revenue on this site comes from display advertising that keeps the server running.

Every number on this site comes from one of three sources:

• In-game measurement — densities, ratios, and recipes confirmed by testing in the current build;
• Official sources — patch notes, developer posts, and store pages;
• Attributed community reports — clearly marked when a mechanic is community-discovered and not yet confirmed.

When a mechanic changes between patches, we update the affected page and note the version in which the change happened. If something is not yet known, we say it is unknown rather than guessing.

Spotted a mistake, a changed recipe, or a missing page? Reach out via the GitHub repository of this project or through the community channels linked on the homepage. Corrections with in-game screenshots or patch-note references get fixed first.
